TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC: The Embassy wishes to inform the general public that with effect from 1st July, 2007, payment and processing of Visa and Passport applications must be made online through the E-Immigration Platform (www.immigration.gov.ng). |

PLEASE, READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION ! All Admin Fees for Visa or Passport/Renunciation of Citizenship /Penalty Fees for lost or damaged passport should be paid into the ING Bank Account NO. 5926202
All Legalization of Documents /Endorsement / Emergency Travel Document (ETC) / Authentications Fees should be paid into ABN AMRO BANK Account No. 458689351
Visa application forms can be submitted online on the embassy website Visa Application Form. Application form for visas can be submitted on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 09.30 am and 12.30 pm except otherwise stated by the consular officer. Visa collection is three days (3days) after submission of application form at 4.00 pm

Visa application guides for visa applicants Our visa application guides listed below contain general information about different types of visa and categories of traveller to the Nigeria and aim to answer some common questions you may have related to the visa application process. Full conditions for entry to the Nigeria are contained in the Visa GiudeLines published on the E-Immigration Platform (www.immigration.gov.ng). website. Applicants are to note that the Application Form must be printed before the form is submitted and bring same to the embassy along with roof of payment.. Our performance against standards Guide to visa processing times To find out our most recent visa application processing times , use the 'Guide to visa processing times' below: Processing times are given in working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Please note: Our published visa processing times is within 3 days depends on the visa type and some exceptions may apply where necessary. Submission of Passport for Visa and application form are only received on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am to 12.00pm. Please adhere strictly to this rule as any excuse will not be entertained by official at the Consular Service You can apply for your visa within three months of your intended date of travel. We are only able to post-date visas by a maximum of three months from the date of the decision on your visa application. You can enter the Nigeria anytime after your visa issue date but not before. We strongly advise applicants not to confirm their travel arrangements to go to Nigeria until they have received their visa. We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the Nigeria, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your visa. We do not accept responsibility for any financial loss and we do not fast-track applications solely due to planned date of travel. |
