Applicants for Passports, ETCs and Endorsements are strictly required to visit the Embassy on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am -12.00pm every week except on Public Holidays. All applicants must come for interview, which will be conducted by the Consular officer.

ISSUANCE OF STANDARD NIGERIA PASSPORT OR OTHER NIGERIAN TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Nigerian Missions abroad are authorized to issue/renew Standard Nigerian Passport and  Emergency Travel Certificates only.

Re-issue of Passport (Apply through www.immigration.gov.ng) Cost: $85

•  Application letter for re-issue of MRP passport
• A completed MRP passport application form at ( www.immigration.gov.ng) Cost: $85
•  Copy of Resident Permit 
•  Bring along the Expired/Old Passport
• Copy of a valid resident permit
•  Copy of 1st seven pages of the old passport or data page of the new passport
•  One passport picture
• Applicants must come for interview before payment is made
• Duration: 2/3 weeks

Application for Passport for a Child Under 16 Years (Apply through www.immigration.gov.ng) Cost: $85

•  Application letter for a first passport
• A completed MRP passport application form( www.immigration.gov.ng) Cost: $85
•  Copy of birth certificate (Original must be shown)
•  Copies of Nigerian passport of either the mother or father of the child
• If one of the parent is a foriegn national, he/she has to provide a letter of consent with his/her copy of passport
•  One passport picture
• Applicants must come for interview before payment is made
• Duration: 2/3 weeks

Replacement of Lost Passsport (Apply through www.immigration.gov.ng) Cost: $85 + €250 Penalty to Embassy  Rabo Bank Account No. 1506-44-329

A Nigerian citizen resident abroad may have his/her lost passport replaced by the Nigerian Mission in the country of residence. The procedure is as follows:

• One Official Coloured Passport Picture
• Application letter for replacement of lost passport
• A Completed MRP application form from ( www.immigration.gov.ng) Cost: $85.
• Such completed Passport application forms are thereafter submitted with a Police extract, affidavit of loss, birth certificate or declaration of age and letter from National Population Commission, marriage certificate in the case of married women to the Officer in charge of passport at the Nigerian Mission in the country of residence.
• Copy of a valid resident permit
• Applicants must come for interview before payment is made
• Duration: 2/3 weeks
• Payment of €250 for the penalty of lost passport is payable to RABOBANK - Account No.  1506-44-329

• Completed Child's Endorsement Application form
• Two small Coloured Passport-sized photograph of child
• Photocopy of the child's Birth certificate (bring original copy as well)
• Photocopy of mother's passport
• Photocopy of father's passport
• Letter from father of child/children giving his consent for the endorsement of the child's name in mother's passport.
• Application letter from the mother of the child/children requesting for the endorsement.
• Copy of mother's resident permit
• Applicants must come for interview before payment is made
• Duration: 2/3 days

• Letter of Application - applying for Emergency Travel Certificate
• Two recent coloured passport photographs
• Police report with a copy of the lost passport
• Age Declaration/Affidavit and letter from National |Population Commision.
• The application letter need to cover the events surrounding the loss of passport and will include the following
  1. date and place of birth
  2. local government area
  3. State of Origin
• Evidence of Flight Ticket booking to fall within 2 days of travel
• Applicants must come for interview before payment is made.
• Duration: 1 day
• Cost: €130 fee payable to the RABOBANK - Account No.  1506-44-329

ETC's are to be collected within 48hrs before departure and the person traveling must come in person for interview before s/he is allowed to go to the Bank for payment.
